France in the 21st Century

 

In these times it is good to see the playful imagination of our ancestors, and MesseyNessyChic blog has a great entry where artists in the 19th century provided a futuristic image of France in the 21st century, and made it popular by showing these reproductions on cigarette boxes and postcards. If only this came true!
